When is it safe to post again after Instagram has been down?
Instagram (and all of Meta -aka Facebook and Threads) is down as of about 12:30 pm EST today.
If the app isn’t working for you, or acting weird, don’t ever post!
The first thing you should do is go to downdetector.com and check Instagram for a spike in outage reports:
Here is what it looks like if there is a new outage:
See that big red line on right?
That means Instagram is down for a LOT of people. So don’t post!!!
Keep checking downdetector.com and when things go back to “normal,” then you can post again!
